Winner Victorian Open Master
The
Bloke - Best off the stick (94,17,77) |
The nnomads Golf Club championship is based on the average of
the best four scores from the ten nnomads Golf Club major events in 2019. The Bloke ended up with an average net
score of 69.75
strokes across
his four best events which was 1.5 strokes in front of 2nd place
getter TJ. The Bloke had an interesting
year, only winning two major events - the ANZAC Day medal (ADM) in April, and
the Victorian Open Masters Invitational Tournament (VOMIT) in June. He also
came second the Australian Masters Open Kup (AMOK) in January, and third in
the Melbourne Cup Cup (MCC) in November. However, what won him this year’s
championship were his off-the-stick performances which were outstanding and
enough to get him across the line in 2019. Fourth time champion: Of note, is the fact
that this is the fourth time The Bloke
has won the nnomads Golf Club championship previously winning in 2017, 2013
and 2011. No other member in the long and proud history of nnomads Golf Club
has won four club championships making The Bloke’s 2019 win a
testament to his continuing excellence over a long period of time. The nnomdas Golf Club committee congratulates The Bloke on an outstanding year in
2019. The results again show that you don’t have to win every major golf
event to be club champion. You just need perform well in four major events
and be ahead of the pack as was The Bloke in 2019.
