Two outstanding
performances delivered the 2015 2015 nnomads Golf Club champion The Cardinal again showed that you don’t have to win every event to become club champion.
Rather, two brilliant performances and a couple of placings got him across
the line. In 2015, The Cardinal was
runner up in a ‘Triggered Major’ in
March, won the ‘Blessed are the Big
Nose’ Cup in April, was runner up in the ‘VOMIT’ in June, and then won the ‘Shanksy Invitational Tournament’ in early December. This delivered The Cardinal a net score over his best four
championship rounds in 2015 of 65.3 strokes, a full 4 strokes in
front of his nearest rival Stavros the
Greek, and 5 strokes in front of The
Bloke in third place (see final results in the table below). It should be said that The
Cardinal’s personal best performance at the SHIT was the key driver of
his win where he was a whopping 23 strokes under the card. This was
complimented by his 7 strokes under the card performance at the BBNC, albeit playing off the 85 year old markers at
Yering Meadows. The nnomdas Golf Club committee
congratulates The Cardinal on his
well-deserved win in 2015. |
