Standardised Event Report:

‘TJ VOMITs on Old Dudes Again’

September 27th, 2025: Once again, the annual running of the Victorian Open Masters Invitational Tournament (VOMIT) was held at the Growling Frog in horrendous conditions including strong winds and heavily scarified greens.

As was expected, the cream of the nnomads Golf Club membership turned out to compete in what could be only described as a [insert preferred adjective], not-to-be-missed event.

Preferred adjective alternatives – 1) Impressive, 2) Top class, 3) Sensational, 4) Magnificent and 5) Awe-inspiring:

The first group onto the tee included The Haning Judge, Curtis and The Bloke while the second group contained TJ, Stavros the Greek and Nurse Min.  With such a highly skilled field like this, it was clearly going to be a [insert preferred adjective] competition (see 2025 Player Groups).

Nothing but quality on course: And that is exactly how it turned out with a truly [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] display of how to play competition golf. A perfect example was The Bloke’s [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] two longest drives on the 8th and 15th holes, and his [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] NTP on the 12th. Equally impressive was the Hanging Judge’s [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] NTP on the 5th. It is fair to say that the adoring gallery got their money’s worth that day (see On Course in 2025).

On course - VOMIT 2025

TJ VOMITs on old Dudes Again: At the end of the day, there was a single player who stood out from the rest being TJ (94,21,73) who ended up 1 stroke in front of 2nd place getter Curtis (92,18,74), with the rest of the field five plus strokes behind. This meant that TJ won back-to-back VOMITs which is a truly impressive feat against such a quality albeit slightly older field. (see detailed individual results below).

Sensational presentations: So once again, the presentations were a celebration of TJ’s [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] performance and his 1st win for the year. ‘What can one say? A windy day, tough conditions” started out the back to back champion as the gallery once again erupted in praise and adoration for the re-crowned champion (See VOMIT 2025 champion’s speech video).

2025 VOMIT Champion Winner’s Speech - Video

The Club committee congratulates TJ on his [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] win and indeed all other winners on the day. The committee reminds members that the next major event in 2025 is the Melbourne Cup Cup in November, unless a Triggered Major sneaks into the event calendar before then.
