Standardised Event Report: ‘TJ does it again’ |

September 27th, 2024: Well,
it was some time since the last major event back in April and it proved
worthy of the wait. That’s because the weather was perfect and the course in
excellent condition setting up a perfect scenario nnomads
Golf Club competition golf. |
|
|
As expected,
the turnout was excellent with 11 competitors stepping onto the tee for first
Triggered Major of 2024, creating only what could be described as a [insert preferred adjective] field. Preferred adjective alternatives – 1) Impressive, 2) Top class, 3)
Sensational, 4) Magnificent and 5) Awe-inspiring: First onto the
tee in Group 1 were Pup, TJ, Freddie Five Iron and Markus Octavuious closely followed by Curtis, Billy Bob
Thornton and The Bloke with Stavros the Greek, Nurse Min, Slugger Fairweather, and Circuit Board in the final group. With such an elite field like
this, it was clearly going to be a [insert preferred
adjective] competition (see TM1 2024 Player Groups). |

Quality on course: And that is exactly how it turned out with a truly a [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] display of how to play competition golf. Perfect examples
included TJ’s [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] NTP on the 2nd, Slugger’s [Rotate from list of preferred
adjectives] NTP on the 5th, Nurse Min’s [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] NTP on the 16th, The Bloke’s [Rotate from list of preferred
adjectives] Longest drive on the 8th and Billy Bob Thornton’s [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] Longest drive on the 15th. It is fair to say that
the adoring gallery got their money’s worth that day (see On Course in 2024). |

TJ does it again: At the end of the day, it was a clear result with TJ (99,22,77) winning by 4 strokes over
equal 2nd placegetters Nurse Min (111,30,81) and Billy
Bob Thornton (107,26,81). Of note was the fact that this is TJ’s third win
in a major event in 2024, which put him on top of the club championship
ladder at this point in time (see
detailed results below). Celebrations and
presentations: Hence, the presentations in
the car park were a celebration of TJ’s
[Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] performance, as you would expect. The newly crowned champion
was presented with the Triggered Major trophy, and other prize winners
received their just deserts (see photos of 2024 presentations). After a mix up, the media finally caught up to interview TJ after the
event (See TM1 2024 winners speech). |

The Club
committee congratulates TJ on his [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] win and indeed all other winners on the day. The committee
also reminds members that the next major event in 2024 is either the Festival
of the BIT, or the Swan Island nnomads Cup, or the
Melbourne Cup Cup. So, watch for announcements, book early and see you there!! |
