Standardised Event Report: ‘Judge hangs field out to dry
March 30^th 2018: So this year the annual running of the Blessed are the Big Nose Cup was run at Yering Meadows out in the picturesque Yarra Valley with beautiful views on a lovely warm autumn day….
And yes it was the same solid cross section from the cream of the nnomads Golf Club membership base that turned out to compete, creating only what could be described as a [insert preferred adjective] field. Preferred adjective alternatives – 1) Impressive, 2) Top class, 3) Sensational, 4) Magnificent and 5) Awe-inspiring: This year groupings were slightly different with, Group 1 containing Pup, The Cardinal, and The Hanging Judge, Group 2 containing Rubber Man, Freddie Five Iron, Markus Octaviouis and Slugger with the final group containing Stavros the Greek, Billy Bob Thornton, Thombei The Mist and The Bloke. With such a highly skilled field, it was clearly going to be a [insert preferred adjective] competition (see 2018 Player Groups).	BBNC Player groups 2018 Photos
Tough on course: And that is exactly how it turned out with a truly a [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] a display of how to play competition golf. Perfect examples of such expertise included Billy Bob’s [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] NTP on the 22nd, and his [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] Longest drive on the 27^th hole, Thombei The Mist’s [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] NTP on the 25^th, and his [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] Longest drive on the 5th hole, and Pup’s [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] NTP 3rd. Judge Hangs Them Out to Dry: But there was one player who stood out from the rest and that was The Hanging Judge (102.27,75) who ended up three strokes over the card, and and one stroke better than 2^nd place getter Billy Bob Thornton (107,31,76)) with Thombei The Mist (104,25,79) further stroke back in 3^rd place (see detailed results below). Brilliant presentations: This meant the presentations back in Slugger’s place were a [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] celebration of The Hanging Judge’s [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] performance (see Photos of 2018 presentations). That was not to mention the fantastic sausages on bread cooked personally by Chef Slugger which were devoured in minutes just prior to the presentations – Thanks Slugger! The Club committee congratulates The Hanging Judge on his [Rotate from list of preferred adjectives] win and indeed all other winners on the day. The committee also reminds members that the next major event in 20187 is the ‘ANZAC Day medal, to be run at the Growling Frog on ANZAC day. So book early and see you there.
