The
Hanging Judge 25th April 2016 The Growling Frog |
Standardised Event Report: ‘Judge Clear in ANZAC Day Massacre’ |
|
April 25th 2016: Lest we forget: As
usual, this year’s annual running of the ANZAC Day medal was at the fabulous
Growling Frog where the conditions were perfect and the course in tip-top
condition. |
|
And on that morning,
ten members that remembered to get out of bed, representing a solid cross
section from the cream of the nnomads Golf Club membership
base, creating only what could be described as a [insert preferred headline] field. Preferred headline alternatives – 1) Impressive, 2) Top class, 3)
Sensational, 4) Magnificent and 5) Awe-inspiring: First onto the
tee in Group 1 were The Bloke, Rubber
Man and The Hanging Judge,
closely followed by Curtis, Billy Bob
Thornton, and Slugger in the
2nd group with Freddie Five Iron, Markus Octavious
and Stavros the Greek in the final group. With such a highly skilled field
like this, it was clearly going to be a [insert preferred
headline] competition (see 2016 Player Groups). |
|
Pure quality on course: And that is exactly how it turned out with a truly a [Rotate from list of preferred headlines] a display of how to play competition golf. Perfect examples
of such expertise included The Hanging
Judge’s [Rotate from list of preferred
headlines] two NTPs on the 2nd and 12th
holes, and Slugger’s [Rotate from list of preferred headlines] NTP on the 16th hole. It is fair to say that the adoring
gallery got their money’s worth that day (see On Course in 2016). |

Judge Clear in ANZAC Day
Massacre: But there was one player who
stood out from the rest and that was The
Hanging Judge (96,25,71) who ended up one stroke under the card, and three
strokes better than 2nd place getter Billy Bob Thornton (103,29,74)) with Pup (100,23,77)) further back in 3rd place (see detailed results below). Wild presentations: This meant the presentations back in the carpark were a [Rotate from list of preferred headlines] celebration of The Hanging
Judge’s [Rotate from list of preferred
headlines] performance (see Photos of 2016
presentations). “Well it’s been a long
time since I won anything …” started out the newly crowned ANZAC Day champion
as Billy Bob Thornton attached the
ANZAC day pin to The Hanging Judge’s
chest (see ANZAC Day Pin presentation). Even The Captain rang in from his Corny Point hideaway to congratulate
The Judge (see 2016 ADM winner’s Speech).
