Respondent Profile 4: Weekenders
AGES: From 3 years to 40 years + OCCUPATIONS: Daisy is a
doctor while MBW owns and manages his own very successful business of over
fifteen plus years duration LOCATION: Gold Coast, Queensland INTERESTS & HOBBIES: MBW and
Daisy have active family lives with their two children Raws
and Rubes. The family regularly attends the Uralba Open on the long weekend
in June and nearly always as a family. “The weather in Victoria is amazing. Wait five minutes and you
will get something else. But it was good for the weekend. I got some lovely
photos. The kids loved the tent and camping atmosphere and both slept like
logs. From a Family and logistics point of view I was impressed with the test
run. We would be eager to participate in future research subject to
availability of time and money.” – Daisy “Well, I thought it was tremendous. I had a really close look
at the course and listened as closely as possible to Fang. I was able to
familiarise myself with the layout day and night, over a two-day period,
prior to playing the event. It was brilliant preparation. It helped me win
the event. Most realistic research! I really felt like a winner there for a
moment.” – MBW COMMENTS: MBW, Daisy, Rubes and Raws are long term members of this research panel and
have attended a number of events of over time. Daisy has a limited interest in golf event research unless there
is a large social and interaction component. Daisy likes picturesque
locations and photo opportunities. MBW has a strong interest in golf events
and consumption research generally and actively participates whenever he can.
