Respondent Profile 3: OVERNIGHTERS NAMES: Clean Phil and Cath AGES: Over 40 (but they have been saying that years too) OCCUPATIONS: Cath is a
teacher and Clean Phil manages their organic fruit and berry farm in
Gippsland. Cath and the family are all involved on the farm. LOCATIONS: La Trobe Valley,
Gippsland, Victoria INTERESTS & HOBBIES: Clean Phil and Cath have active
family lives with 3 teenagers/ young adults. The farm keeps them busy leaving
them very little time to enjoy things like golf. Not that Cath or Clean Phil
are interested in golf. It is the between event activity and the social
interaction that most interests them. “If I didn’t know this was market research, I would have
billed this event as a great get together with my friends. I loved catching
up with everybody and the place was just beautiful. Sitting there looking
over the paddocks as the sun went down. It really was fantastic. If this is
what the concept is offering, I would come regularly.” – Cath “The land is marginal but a great site for a golf course. The
sheep will keep it down and it should look wonderful in the spring if the
existing rain patterns persist. I will come again if I’m invited which is
likely as I jointly won the Tequila Challenge with Robyn 1. They will have to
invite me back. A good concept! It got me in.” – Clean Phil COMMENTS: lean Phil and Cath are
long term members of this research panel and have hosted a number of events
of their own over time. They have a broad range of experience in a range of
research areas too numerous to mention. They have a
limited interest in golf event research unless there is a large social and
interaction component. |
