Respondent Profile 2: DAY-TRIPPERS

NAMES: Cam, The Bloke and Billy Bob Thornton

AGES: Over 30 (but they have been saying that for well over 10 years)

OCCUPATIONS: Consultants (of various types)

LOCATIONS: Inner and Northern Suburbs in Melbourne, Victoria

INTERESTS & HOBBIES: The Bloke and Billy Bob have active family lives with children. Cam has an active social life without them. All enjoy a game of golf very occasionally when family and work commitments allow.

“I thought the pilot test was very realistic. I enjoyed the experience of winning the longest drive and thought the presentations were great. I think they are onto a good idea here. Next year I will upgrade to an Overnighter or Weekender and I might bring the family to make a weekend of it. Easy to get to.” – Billy Bob

“It’s a casual course and a casual event. I just hope the research experience can be carried through when they implement the main event. If the real thing proves to be as good as this was it will be big. I would certainly encourage them to further develop the concept. I will make myself available for future concept pilot testing if required.” – The Bloke

“The course is challenging, as was Fang. The mobile coverage was better than I expected. I really think the concept has potential. Add a little bocce here, a larger deck chair there, ample sustenance and refreshments and you would get me. Keep me on the list for the next research pilot.” - Cam

COMMENTS: Billy Bob, The Bloke and Cam are regular members of our research panel. They specialise in golf event and consumption related research of all types. They are very experienced campaigners and are normally very eager to participate in experimental research such as this. Solid contributors (but don’t always put their score cards - thus are somewhat in disgrace.) “Use the website you bastards. Just push the ‘email scores’ button.
